About Me

Hello, I am Angela Schiavi LMT, CMLDT Founder and Owner of Nurtured Soul Ashiatsu & Massage.

My journey began many years ago at the age of seven. I would always rub my aunts feet and shoulders and she felt so much better afterwards, this lead to me  to want to help people. After unfulfilling years in college, I decided that I had to follow my passion for Holistic healing massage and wellness.

I then began massage school at Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts.  After graduating in 2002 I found myself in a few unrewarding massage jobs. I felt like my full potential as a therapist was not being utilized.  In 2013 As a single mom of a 7 and 5 year old, I was crying one day and my 7 year old asked what was wrong? I told him that I felt overwhelmed because I had to be away from our home but also was not being paid to be away unless a client was on the table and he said" and you agreed to that?" That's when I stepped out in Faith and NurturedSoul was born.
